If you ask anyone that is involved with the process of making a good record: What is the one thing that you think contributed the most to the 'sound'?You are certain to get multiple answers from each person."It's the pre-amps...well, it's the mics and the pre-amps, and the...arrangements were good. The mix. The players absolutely nailed it. We had a good time. The separation of parts was incredible. And the room was like church." I truly believe it takes all of that, some patience and a bit of old fashioned luck. The Room is a BIG part of the equation- We have some good ones.

The 320 sq. ft. Live Room is ideal for larger ensembles, horns, acoustic driven arrangements or to distance mic amplifiers.

Utilizing a combination of close, near and area mic placement techniques, combined with multi-room separation, we are able to capture the desired level of natural resonance and response without channel bleed, (drummer coming out of the flute player's track). Not all genres seek the 'open' sound. Please feel free to talk with us about your music. What kind of sound are you shooting for? Maybe you want the Studio B kind of vibe, talk to us. |
