One of the most respected Audio Engineers is the great Sylvia Massy. Years ago she decided to drag her control room out into the middle of the studio. She said that it put her in touch with the Artists and their music.
This room has a great sound and a cool vibe. It comfortably accommodates sessions of up to five musicians including the percussionist. The Genz-Benz bass amp can be positioned to give the rhythm section players good visual communication.

The 252 sq. ft. Studio B features our TJS Custom Drums commissioned set. The natural maple shells provide a crisp resonance expected from only the finest of percussion instruments.Utilizing the 'Glyn Johns' recording technique (The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin) as our primary drum mic strategy, we also offer a seven mic configuration that sounds awesome. |
